Amor de Dios
Project Summary
Amor de Dios has begun principal photography in Spain under the direction of Paula Palacios, marking her fiction feature debut after winning the IDA Netflix 2022 Global Emerging Filmmaker Award and earning double Goya nominations for her documentaries. The film is headlined by Belén Rueda, known for The Orphanage, alongside Asier Etxeandia from Pedro Almodóvar's Pain and Glory, celebrated French dancer Soleila Chaou, Spanish National Ballet principal dancer Irene Tena, and Tania Santana. The project is produced by ISII Group's Inefable Productions, with Deep Com Roots handling Spanish distribution and international sales. Inspired by an original concept from Carlos Saura, the film reimagines Spanish folkloric tradition through a contemporary lens, blending flamenco with modern dance and visual storytelling. The production is scheduled for a 2027 release.
