Aaron Kaplan is the founder and CEO of Kapital Entertainment, a leading independent production company he launched in 2009 after serving as Worldwide Head of Scripted Content at the William Morris Agency. Kapital has produced 36+ series and over 1,100 episodes of television for networks including CBS, Showtime, NBC, ABC, Netflix, Hulu, and HBO, with credits including The Chi, The Neighborhood, A Million Little Things, Black Cake, Watson, and the International Emmy-winning Delhi Crime. In 2017, CBS Corporation acquired an ownership stake in Kapital, making it a hybrid independent/studio-backed operation. Prior to Kapital, he co-founded management company Kaplan/Perrone Entertainment in 2000 with partner Sean Perrone.
