Kapital Entertainment is a leading American independent production company founded in 2009 by Aaron Kaplan, specializing in the development and production of scripted television series and digital content for broadcast networks, cable, and streaming platforms. Under Kaplan's leadership as CEO, the company has established one of the best pilot-to-series batting averages in the business, having developed over 56 pilots with 32 advancing to series. In February 2017, Kapital entered a strategic partnership with CBS Corporation (now Paramount Skydance), in which CBS acquired an ownership stake and serves as the company's worldwide distributor, while Kapital continues to operate independently. Notable productions include The Chi (Showtime), A Million Little Things (ABC), The Neighborhood (CBS), Black Cake (Hulu), Watson (CBS), and Delhi Crime (Netflix), which won the International Emmy Award for Best Drama Series.
