White

White is a shark survival action film entering pre-production under director Jake West. Kate Beckinsale and Katherine McNamara are attached to star, with Beckinsale also serving as executive producer. The story follows Willa Harba, a struggling actress whose private jet crashes into the Pacific Ocean. Stranded alone on a fractured wing, her satellite phone call for rescue is dismissed by her demanding studio boss Barbara, played by Beckinsale. Instead, marine biologist Sam Swatek, played by McNamara, intercepts the signal and delivers chilling news: Willa has crashed into the White Shark Café, where great whites gather to feed. The film is written by Dan Schaffer and produced by Yariv Lerner, Dominic Burns, Crawford Anderson-Dillon, and Sky Morfopoulos. Highland Film Group is handling worldwide sales and co-financing.
