We Go Way Back is a hilarious, heartfelt feature spanning childhood to adulthood, following two best friends as they navigate the highs and hazards of a lifelong friendship shaped by shared ancestry, clashing identities, and one increasingly complicated attempt to make a movie together. As they grow up, fall out, and find their way back to each other, their story explores the love, difference, and messy beauty of going way back with someone.
