Project Summary
Uptown Girl: The Christie Brinkley Story is a three-part docuseries greenlit by Fox Nation for a 2027 premiere. Directed by Larissa Bills, the project is produced by Lionsgate Alternative Television and combines never-before-seen personal footage from Brinkley's extensive archives with present-day vérité filming. The series chronicles Brinkley's life from her early years as an artist in Paris through her groundbreaking modeling career, marriage to Billy Joel, motherhood, and the 1994 helicopter crash she survived. The documentary offers unprecedented access to decades of personal recordings, home movies, journals, and photographs that Brinkley has preserved throughout her career. Fox Entertainment Global is handling worldwide distribution, with the project presented at MIPCOM in October 2026.
