Project Summary
Fox Entertainment Studios and Endemol Shine North America are in pre-production on an untitled scripted horror microseries inspired by the Fear Factor franchise. Written by Thom Woodley and Andrew Beck and directed by Gabriel Caste, the vertical video series marks the first time an unscripted television franchise has been adapted into original scripted content. The production is being produced by Ian Nsenga and Yuliia Vyshnevska for exclusive distribution on Holywater Tech's My Drama platform, with Fox Entertainment Global handling worldwide distribution. The series will consist of 30 three-minute episodes optimized for mobile viewing. The story takes place during prep week on a remote horror television set, where a practical effects artist and her crew unleash a haunted fortune-telling machine that forces them into personalized death trials. This marks My Drama's first horror series and represents Fox's first unscripted-to-scripted franchise extension.
