Project Summary
Unleeshed is a vertical series co-created by comedian Alisha Dhillon and director Quentin Lee, reuniting the duo from their Canadian Screen Award-winning collaboration on Comedy Invasion. Dhillon wrote and stars in the series, which follows a South Asian standup comic navigating the Los Angeles standup comedy and roast battle scene while caring for her father. Lee directs and executive produces through his production banner Margin Films, founded in Los Angeles in 1996. Principal photography is set to begin in August 2026, with the completed first season debuting as Asian American Movies' inaugural original vertical series. The show will stream worldwide on AAM. tv—available via iOS, Android, and Roku—for Thanksgiving 2026, with a November premiere targeted.
