Project Summary
Tower Defense is a spec screenplay acquisition by Paramount Primal, the studio's genre label run by producers J. D. Lifshitz and Raphael Margules. Written by Evan Daugherty, the screenwriter behind Snow White and the Huntsman and Divergent, the project is described as a medieval and supernatural fantasy take on the siege concept from John Carpenter's 1976 thriller Assault on Precinct 13. The script was acquired without filmmaker or producer attachments, marking one of the early acquisitions for the label, which launched in late 2025.
