Thud

Thud is a supernatural romantic comedy heading into pre-production in Los Angeles. Sarah Michelle Gellar stars as the Grim Reaper opposite Rudy Pankow as the Devil in this original screenplay by Noga Pnueli. The film reunites Gellar with Radio Silence, who serve as executive producers alongside Tyler Gillett and Matt Bettinelli-Olpin. Mali Elfman directs, following her genre-bending debut Next Exit. Derek Bishé and David Grove Churchill Viste produce, with additional executive producers from Helmstreet Productions and Divide/Conquer. The ensemble cast now includes Piper Curda, Sujata Day, Sterling Sulieman, Steve Agee, Karan Soni, Dot-Marie Jones, and Katie Parker. Production is set to shoot in Los Angeles with support from a California tax credit, with casting director Lisa Zagoria assembling the team.
