The Priest is a British action thriller that has wrapped principal photography in Cornwall, marking the feature directing debut of Will Saunders. Craig Russell stars as a parish priest whose violent past catches up with him when a figure from his former life appears at his confessional. As local crime boss Vale, played by Luca Matteo Zizarri, tightens control over the town, the priest is forced to confront the life he tried to leave behind. The production was written by Maisie Davies, Sonny Barton, Zuzu Hanley, and Jamie Moody, with Ethan Lee producing and Becks Bouron serving as cinematographer—both RTS Award winners. Filming took advantage of Cornwall's cliff-top industrial ruins, working harbors, and historic churches to build atmosphere. The project is now in post-production.
