Falmouth University

Falmouth University is a specialist public university for the creative industries located across two campuses in Falmouth and Penryn, Cornwall, UK. Founded as Falmouth School of Art in 1902 and granted full university status in 2012, it offers undergraduate, postgraduate, and online degrees spanning film, television, animation, games, art, design, photography, music, performance, fashion, writing, journalism, and architecture. Its School of Film & Television is a CILECT-accredited film school with ScreenSkills Select-recognised programmes, and its Sound/Image Cinema Lab is home to BAFTA-winning productions including BAIT (2018) and BIFA-winning Enys Men (2022). With approximately 8,185 students (2024/25), it is a leading creative arts institution in the UK and a member of Combined Universities in Cornwall, partnering with the University of Exeter on its Penryn Campus.
