In dust-choked Tulsa, truth-obsessed bookseller-turned-citizen journalist Lee Raybon investigates the “suicide” of a disgraced heir to a powerful family, uncovering a web of corruption, ambition and buried vendettas. As his obsession deepens and threats close in, Lee risks his fraying ties to his ex-wife and teenage daughter to drag an empire built on silence into the light.
