Project Summary
The Housemaid's Secret moves into pre-production with director Paul Feig returning to helm the sequel to Lionsgate's 2025 box-office hit. Sydney Sweeney reprises her role as Millie Calloway, joined by Kirsten Dunst, Michele Morrone, Paul Anthony Kelly, and newly added Brittany Snow as Marybeth. Based on Freida McFadden's bestselling second novel in the trilogy, the psychological thriller is produced by Hidden Pictures' Todd Lieberman, Pretty Dangerous Pictures' Laura Fischer and Feig, and Sweeney through her Honey Trap banner. Rebecca Sonnenshine adapts the screenplay. Production is set to begin later in 2026, with cameras rolling in the fall for a December 17, 2027 theatrical release.
