Project Summary
Spiritual World reunites director Olivier Assayas with Kristen Stewart for their third collaboration, returning to the supernatural territory they explored in Personal Shopper. Stewart plays Ada, a young woman with clairvoyant abilities who experiences mysterious premonitions. The international ensemble includes Vicky Krieps, Riley Keough, Wagner Moura, Niels Schneider, and Barbara Sukowa. Curiosa Films and ARTE France are producing the feature, which shoots from February through April 2027 across locations in France and Germany. The project marks Assayas' continued exploration of the liminal space between the psychological and the supernatural, building on themes from both Personal Shopper and his HBO series Irma Vep.
