Project Summary
Small Town is a world premiere John Mellencamp musical presented by Ogunquit Playhouse. The production is built around the songs of the legendary singer/songwriter and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame inductee John Mellencamp. Musical style is heartland rock and Americana; vocal style is informed by working-class storytelling, roots rock and folk. The production embraces an Actor-Musician company format. First preview is scheduled for October 1, 2026 in Maine, with an opening night of October 3, 2026 and a closing date of November 1, 2026.
