Ogunquit Playhouse

Ogunquit Playhouse is a historic, professional regional theater and 501(c)(3) non-profit organization located at 10 Main Street in Ogunquit, Maine, self-billed as 'America's Foremost Summer Theater.' Founded in 1933 and listed on the National Register of Historic Places, it produces five or more Broadway-caliber musicals each season (May–October/November), welcoming over 100,000 guests annually and generating an estimated $21 million in annual economic impact for the state of Maine. Under Executive Artistic Director Bradford T. Kenney, the Playhouse has grown from a seasonal summer stock theater into a nationally recognized year-round regional theater with a New Works Program that has developed original productions including Mystic Pizza, Mr. Holland's Opus, Heartbreak Hotel, and The Nutty Professor.
