Shogun (Season 2)

The second season of Shōgun continues the epic historical drama set in feudal Japan, following Lord Yoshii Toranaga’s rise to power. After adapting James Clavell’s novel in Season 1, the series now ventures into uncharted territory, exploring new narratives within the historical context of Japan’s Sengoku period. The season will delve deeper into Toranaga’s ambition to become Shōgun, the supreme military leader of Japan, while introducing new characters and conflicts. Filming is expected to begin in Fall 2025, though delays due to script refinement are possible.
