Project Summary
Scary Teacher is a feature film adaptation of the Z & K Games mobile horror game that has billions of views across YouTube. Producers Joe Roth and Jeff Kirschenbaum are developing the project with writers Cory Todd Hughes and Adrian Speckert, who are crafting what's described as an elevated horror take that combines suspense, dark humor, and coming-of-age emotion. The story centers on Miss T, a sadistic teacher who terrorizes high school students Nick and Tani, prompting them to retaliate with elaborate pranks while navigating the traps in her home. Roth/Kirschenbaum Films is shepherding the adaptation, with the writing team aiming to capture universal anxieties about high school while delivering an entertaining horror film. No production timeline or studio attachment has been announced.
