Reminiscence

Set slightly in the future in a Miami with much of the city submerged underwater, a private eye deals in recapturing vivid cherished memories for clients: their youth, their loved ones, their children, the dog that they used to run around with in a field behind their parents' house in childhood, old lovers, etc. He becomes vexed by one of those clients. And then one day the girl, suddenly, goes missing and he has to unpack her past to get her back.
