Pipsqueak Monstrosity is a 20-minute short pilot presentation intended for festival submission and as a pitch for a larger project. Troubled Elliott, suffering from facial tics, absent parents, and restless mischief, tries to use his shoddy ability in hearing the dead to pick up women. He's not exactly good at it. So he hires equally troubled Frances, a 'medium consultant', to help strengthen his cursed gift. But when he begins to hear Frances's dead mother, Martha, and her pitch for him to woo Frances, he realizes communion with the dead is a heck of a lot easier than courtship—or healing the bruises formed by childhood.
