Pedro e Nina is a romance drama feature film beginning principal photography on June 1 at Estúdios Globo in Rio de Janeiro. The project marks an original creative collaboration between pop star Anitta, who conceived the story and stars as Nina, and director Fellipe Barbosa, known for his acclaimed films Casa Grande and Gabriel and the Mountain. Writers Juan Jullian and Renata Corrêa developed the screenplay with collaboration from Michel Carvalho. The cast includes Kelner Macedo as Pedro alongside Valentina Herszage, Regina Casé, Felipe Frazão, and Maria Gladys. Produced by Estúdios Globo under executive director Amauri Soares, the film is being developed for theatrical release with subsequent distribution across TV Globo, Telecine, and Globoplay. Production is based at the Estúdios Globo complex in Jacarepaguá, Rio, with filming set to begin in early June 2026.
