Project Summary
Sketch City follows six wildly imaginative kids racing to write, rehearse, and film brand-new sketches for their online channel before the clock runs out. From superhero parodies to musical numbers, faux ads to mockumentaries that go completely off the rails — their motto: Sketch first, think later. The series is a live-action comedy for 10- to 14-year-olds produced by Sinking Ship Entertainment and The Second City under the ACTRA Online Opportunity Pilot Project (AOPP). A demo shoot is planned between September and end of October 2026, with outside shoot dates in Early Winter 2027 if greenlit. Filming takes place in Toronto.
