Newlyweds

Newlyweds is NBC's new multi-camera comedy starring real-life couple Téa Leoni and Tim Daly. The series centers on Jeanie, a free-spirited woman, and James (also referred to as Tony), a recently divorced philosophy professor at the University of Oslo, who impulsively marry after a whirlwind romance. The show explores how they navigate merging their adult children and established lives. Emma Meisel and Ignacio Diaz-Silverio join the cast as Poppy and Lolo, Jeanie's children (with Lolo being adopted), while Bill O'Neill plays Arvid, James' assistant in the philosophy department. Jamie Lee Curtis serves as executive producer and will appear in a recurring guest role. Created by Gail Lerner, with executive producers Eric and Kim Tannenbaum for The Tannenbaum Company, the series is produced by Universal Television and Lionsgate Television. Production is underway for an October 23 premiere on NBC at 8:30 p. m. ET, with episodes available next-day on Peacock.
