After a long life as an activist, fighting for the right to be her true self, Lucia, a transgender woman, experiences her Alzheimer's symptoms increasing and needing more frequent care. Upon moving into a retirement home, Lucia is confronted with the challenges of her waning lucidity, and the harsh reality that she must once again fight another battle.
