Murdering Michael Malloy
Project Summary
Murdering Michael Malloy is gearing up for a third-quarter 2026 shoot, with director Raymond De Felitta bringing his twenty-five-year passion project to life. The crime thriller stars Tim Roth as struggling bar owner Tony Marino and Timothy Spall as Michael Malloy, the indestructible Irishman. Set against the backdrop of Depression-era New York, the film follows Marino and his partner Bastogne as their increasingly desperate schemes to kill Malloy for insurance money continue to fail, leading the two men to form an unexpected bond. De Felitta co-wrote the screenplay with David Zellerford. Archstone Entertainment is handling worldwide sales, with producers including Stephen Endelman, Dan Grodnik, Louise Chater, and Jeff Wallner of Harbor Lights Entertainment and Icarus Entertainment Fund. The production is based on the notorious 1933 Bronx murder case that earned victim Michael Malloy the nickname "Iron Mike" for his exceptional resilience.
