Project Summary

When Ted and Lily spend the holidays with Ted's family, their unexpected pregnancy sets his elite Chinese-American upbringing against her Rust Belt Catholic ideals — and forces them to decide whose rules they're going to live by: their parents' or their own. At its core, the script is about love, inherited values, and the terrifying reality of making the choice our parents wouldn't want us to. Filming begins January 2027 in New York and Dallas.
