Project Summary
Zag Entertainment is advancing a live-action television adaptation of the popular French animated series Miraculous: Tales of Ladybug & Cat Noir. Creator Jeremy Zag confirmed in September 2026 that the project has assembled its core team, including producers and writers. The series will be co-produced by Zag Entertainment and Skydance Media, maintaining the DNA of the beloved animated franchise while translating it into live-action. Zag, who co-created the original animated series and directed the 2023 theatrical film Ladybug & Cat Noir: The Movie, is spearheading the adaptation. The project represents the first live-action entry in the Miraculous franchise, which has become a global phenomenon since its 2015 debut. With the creative team now in place, the series is targeting active development.
