Line of Duty Series 7

Line of Duty is back for a seventh season after a five-year hiatus, with Martin Compston, Vicky McClure, and Adrian Dunbar reprising their roles as the anti-corruption team. Created and written by Jed Mercurio, the six-part series filmed in Belfast through spring and summer 2026, wrapping principal photography in late August. World Productions produces in association with ITV Studios for BBC One and BBC iPlayer. Jennie Darnell directed the first three episodes, with Mercurio directing episodes four through six. Ken Horn serves as producer, with executive producers Jed Mercurio, Simon Heath for World Productions, and Nick Lambon for the BBC. Guest stars include Robert Carlyle as DC Shaun Massie and Tom Weston-Jones as DI Dominic Gough. The series is now in post-production with support from Northern Ireland Screen, with a broadcast expected in 2027.
