Simon Heath is a British television producer and CEO & Creative Director of World Productions, one of the UK's leading drama production companies, which he has led since 2006 following a career that began in 1993 as a script editor on Byker Grove. Over a 30-year career — 28 of them with World Productions — he has executive produced some of the most-watched British dramas of the modern era, including Line of Duty, Bodyguard, Vigil, Save Me Too, Karen Pirie, Malpractice, and The Bombing of Pan Am 103. He has received Emmy and Golden Globe nominations for Bodyguard, won an International Emmy for Vigil, a BAFTA for Save Me Too (2021), and was awarded an RTS Fellowship in 2021. World Productions, acquired by ITV Studios in 2017, has produced over 500 hours of award-winning drama for the BBC, ITV, Channel 4, Sky, Netflix, HBO, and Amazon.
