Hollow

Hollow is a feature film adaptation of filmmaker Lindsey Anderson Beer's debut novel, currently in development as a package seeking studio distribution. Beer will write and direct the adaptation, which reimagines Washington Irving's classic tale through the eyes of Katrina Van Tassel rather than Ichabod Crane. Sydney Sweeney is attached to star as Van Tassel and produce through her newly formed Honey Trap banner, marking the company's first official film project. LuckyChap and Beer's Lab Brew banner are also producing. The novel, acquired by Penguin Random House imprint Putnam in a preemptive deal, is being fast-tracked for Fall 2027 publication to align with the film's development. The project blends gothic atmosphere, psychological intrigue, and erotic thriller elements into a contemporary reinvention of the 1820 short story.
