Project Summary
Hivemind is an environmental thriller now filming in Dublin, Ireland. Directed by Ciarán Foy, the project reunites Thunder Road and Badlands following their collaboration on genre titles. Samara Weaving and Nicholas Braun lead the cast in this creature feature about killer wasps. Peter Gaffney wrote the spec script that Badlands acquired in early 2025. The producing team includes Basil Iwanyk, Erica Lee, and Diarmaid McGrath for Thunder Road, Scott Strauss for Badlands, and Macdara Kelleher and John Keville for Wild Atlantic Pictures. Amazon MGM Studios has boarded the project with plans to stream internationally on Prime Video. The film is backed by Renegade Capital, with Jon Shiffman and Andrew Schwartzberg serving as executive producers. Production is currently underway at Dublin locations.
