Project Summary
The story for the live-action film version of Gundam is being kept under wraps but the original Gundam series is set in the Universal Century, an era in which humanity’s growing population has led people to emigrate to space colonies. The colonies eventually seek autonomy, leading to a war of independence against Earth. The narrative explores human conflict, the growth of its main character, and the compelling nature of enemies and allies. Battling in massive robots called mobile suits, the Gundam universe offers numerous plotlines filled with love, conflict, and captivating battles.
