Good American Family

Good American Family returns to Hulu for a second season, transitioning into an anthology format. The new installment will dramatize the case of Lorena Bobbitt and her husband John, whose 1993 domestic violence incident became one of the decade's most sensationalized media stories. Creator Katie Robbins returns as writer and executive producer, alongside executive producer Ellen Pompeo under her Calamity Jane banner, with Laura Holstein, Andrew Stearn, and co-showrunner Sarah Sutherland also returning. Lorena Bobbitt herself will serve as a consultant on the series. The studio is 20th Television. The first season, which premiered in March 2025 and focused on the Natalia Grace case, became a streaming success for Hulu and Disney+ with over 140 million hours viewed globally. While the series has been greenlit, no production start date, casting, or filming locations have been announced for the second season.
