Project Summary
Garbage Hill is a 30-minute comedy that takes place in Winnipeg around 2000. The show follows Indigenous best friends Violet and Harley as they enjoy their last summer in town after graduating high school. Harley causes chaos in the city and develops feelings for an older man named Jay, while Violet surprises everyone by starting a garage band with Carmie "Showboat" Shaw. Secrets and challenges arise, causing the friends to drift apart and change in unexpected ways.
