Project Summary
Freddie the Fix is in development at Amazon MGM Studios as a feature film adaptation of Garth Ennis's horror-noir comic series. Lawrence Lamont, who directed One of Them Days, is attached to helm the supernatural thriller from a screenplay by Kalen Egan and Travis Sentell. The project reunites Amazon with Ennis, creator of The Boys and Preacher, adapting the inaugural release from Ninth Circle, the horror imprint at Image Comics. Kimberly Steward and Alex Foster produce for K Period Media alongside Kenya Barris for Khalabo Ink Society, with Ennis, Jeremy Allen, Lamont, Adam Glass, Michael Bogner, and David Stone executive producing. The film follows Freddie, a fixer who cleans up the messes left behind by Hollywood's monstrous stars, blending horror with crime noir sensibilities. No production timeline or cast has been announced.
