Ethan Almighty

Ethan Almighty is currently shooting in Kentucky as a feature film inspired by true events. Written and directed by Tané McClure, the project tells the story of Jeff Callaway and his bond with Ethan, a severely abused dog found near death at the Kentucky Humane Society in Louisville in 2021. The film stars Sean Patrick Flanery as Callaway, alongside Selma Blair, Brandon Routh, Trevor Donovan, Kelly Sullivan, and Finley Rose Slater, with Kelsey Grammer recently joining as the Governor of Kentucky. McClure is producing through McClure Films alongside Michelle Alexandria for Light Year Pictures, Stephanie Garvin, and Lisanne Canty of Harrington Legacy Media. Filming locations include Bardstown and the Kentucky State Capitol in Frankfort. Principal photography began in late April 2026 and is currently underway. Arclight Films and Hollywood Expansion Corporation have acquired worldwide distribution rights.
