The Drunk Shakespeare Society is coming to Los Angeles for an ongoing engagement in Hollywood, starting with Drunk Dracula this fall. Five actors gather as members of The Drunk Shakespeare Society, and one of them downs five shots before attempting a leading role in a classic show. What follows is 90 minutes of comedy, chaos, and quick-thinking improvisation while the four sober actors fight to keep the script on track. No two performances are ever the same. The inaugural Los Angeles Company has been cast and is about to open Drunk Dracula, with additional Part-Time Company Members being added in preparation for the busy holiday seasons ahead. This contract will include Drunk Dracula this fall and Drunk Christmas Carol this winter. Rehearsals are approximately 10 hours per week, with Part-Time company members guaranteed 2 performances per month, potentially increasing to 1–2 performances per week during the busiest stretches of the holiday seasons. The contract ends January 3, 2027.
