About

The Drunk Shakespeare Society is the performing ensemble behind 'Drunk Shakespeare,' an off-Broadway immersive comedy show created by Scott Griffin and David Hudson in 2014, produced under the banner of Brass Jar Productions. Each performance features five professional actors in a speakeasy-style hidden venue, where one actor drinks five shots of whiskey before attempting a leading role in a Shakespearean classic. The show has earned a New York Times Critics' Pick designation and is currently running in New York City, Chicago, Washington D.C., Phoenix, Houston, and Dallas, with companion productions including Drunk Dracula, Drunk Pirates, and Drunk Christmas Carol.
