Project Summary
Struggling with his mother's death at age 5, Jake grapples with belief in his adoptive family's love, his place at school, and his football scholarship prospects. Avery and Mark, who have a son named Tim, care deeply for Jake, yet his doubts persist. After losing his final game, Jake's scholarship dreams waver. A chance discovery of a book in a church, left by a janitor, helps him overcome doubt and draw parallels between his life and Apostle Thomas'. Miraculously, Jake's faith in God blossoms.
