Project Summary
Dear Evan Hansen is a musical about Evan Hansen, a high school senior with social anxiety who is assigned by his therapist to write letters to himself about why each day will be good. The story follows Evan and the other characters including Connor Murphy, a classmate who takes his own life during Act 1, with Connor's ghost appearing in Evan's mind throughout the rest of the musical. The production is being staged at The Engeman Theater in Northport, LI, with rehearsals beginning August 24, 2026, opening September 10, 2026, and running through October 25, 2026 with a potential extension to November 1, 2026.
