The Engeman TheaterFollow

The John W. Engeman Theater at Northport is Long Island's only year-round professional Equity theater, casting its actors directly from the Broadway talent pool. Opened in June 2007 following a multi-million dollar renovation of the historic Northport movie house, the theater features stadium-style seating (400 seats), state-of-the-art lighting and sound, an orchestra pit, and a Lobby Bar and Lounge. The theater has produced over 99 Main Stage Productions of Broadway musicals and plays, as well as Children's Theater, educational programming, special events, and private events — billing itself as "Where Broadway Meets Main Street."
