Directed by Barry Avrich and produced by Taraji P. Henson through TPH Entertainment and Mark Selby via Melbar Entertainment Group, the film examines Love's six-decade career against the backdrop of the civil rights movement and the racial discrimination she navigated throughout her time in the music industry. The documentary features exclusive interviews with Bruce Springsteen, Cher, David Letterman, Dionne Warwick, Nancy Sinatra, Steven Van Zandt, Paul Shaffer, Marc Shaiman, Lou Adler, Jimmy Fallon, and Robert Smigel.
