When a group of researchers are trapped in a remote facility in Antarctica during the night season, a six month period of total darkness, they begin to turn on each other in a shocking series of events. They race to find out whether these bizarre and violent behaviors are just psychological effects of isolation or caused by something far more sinister discovered in the ice.
