Bringing Her Home: The Story of Sloop John B traces the unlikely journey of a Bahamian folk song that became one of the Beach Boys' most enduring hits. Produced by Rising Tide Productions, a Bahamas-based company, the documentary features participation from Beach Boys founding member Al Jardine and follows the creation of a new recording at Lenny Kravitz's studio in Eleuthera, with production by Craig Ross, Kravitz's longtime guitarist and collaborator. Odin's Eye Entertainment is presenting the project at the Marché du Film in Cannes, with a fall 2026 festival campaign planned. The film moves between island memory, music history, and archival discovery, honoring both the Bahamian culture that originated the song and the Beach Boys recording that carried it worldwide.
