Project Summary
Bourbon & Lies is in development as a television series at MGM Television, adapted from Victoria Wilder's bestselling Bourbon Boys book series. Meredith Lavender and Marcie Ulin, who previously showran The Flight Attendant for HBO Max, are attached as creators and executive producers. The project is a collaboration between Sophia Stallone's Callisto Media and Sylvester Stallone's Balboa Productions, with D. Matt Geller overseeing for Balboa. The romantic suspense series centers on the Foxx family distillery in Fiasco, Kentucky, where ex-cop Grant Foxx's quiet life is disrupted when Laney Young arrives with lies and danger trailing her. Wilder's first Bourbon Boys novel became an Amazon number-one bestseller when it was published by Bloom Books in 2024.
