Project Summary
Bodies of Summer marks the third collaboration between Argentine director Iván Fund and writer Martín Felipe Castagnet, adapting Castagnet's award-winning novel of the same name. Fund, who won a Silver Bear Jury Prize at the 2025 Berlin Film Festival for The Message, directs a cast led by Taiwan's Lee Kang-sheng and Argentina's Miranda de la Serna and Marcelo Subiotto. RT Features, the São Paulo-based production company behind Walter Salles' Oscar-winning I'm Still Here and James Gray's Paper Tiger, is producing and fully financing the project in partnership with Rita Cine, Fund's longtime Argentine production partner. The speculative science-fiction drama explores human connection in an ever more technological world.
