Rodrigo Abreu Teixeira (born 2 December 1975) is a Brazilian film producer and founder of RT Features, a São Paulo-based independent production, development, and financing company launched in 2005. Over 20+ years he has championed auteur-driven cinema across more than 65 features, collaborating with directors including Noah Baumbach, Robert Eggers, Luca Guadagnino, James Gray, Walter Salles, Mia Hansen-Løve, Olivier Assayas, Kelly Reichardt, and Gaspar Noé. His production of Walter Salles' I'm Still Here (2024) made history as the first Brazilian film to win the Academy Award for Best International Feature Film and to receive a Best Picture nomination. As RT Features celebrates its 20th anniversary in 2026, Teixeira is expanding aggressively into global cinema — shooting films across Brazil, Argentina, Chile, Romania, Lebanon, and now Asia — while deepening a longstanding partnership with James Gray on their fourth collaboration.
