Google DeepMind

Google DeepMind is a British-American artificial intelligence research laboratory and subsidiary of Alphabet Inc., formed in April 2023 through the merger of DeepMind and Google Brain. Headquartered in London's King's Cross district, it is widely regarded as one of the world's leading AI research organizations, responsible for landmark breakthroughs including AlphaGo, AlphaFold (which earned the 2024 Nobel Prize in Chemistry), and the Gemini family of large language models. The lab's mission is to build AI responsibly to benefit humanity, with active research in areas including scientific discovery, robotics, multimodal generation (Veo, Imagen, Lyria), and artificial general intelligence (AGI).
