Young Americans

Young Americans is a drama pilot ordered by Hulu, currently in pre-production with casting underway. The series is written and executive produced by Chris Hutton and Eddie O'Keefe, with executive producer Bruce Miller (The Handmaid's Tale, The Testaments) on board via White Oak Pictures. Scott Foley has been cast as series regular President Judd Burchfield, a principled politician grappling with family tragedy while an old political rivalry becomes personal. The pilot centers on students at Capitol Crest Academy in Washington, D. C. , where their teenage conflicts mirror the larger political games of their parents. 20th Television is the studio. Production is scheduled to film in Toronto this November, standing in for the Washington, D. C. setting.
